Leading candidate of the GOP, Donald Trump took time to reply all president candidates that attacked him according to Politico. On Sunday, he took to the talk shows to push back on attacks by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders in the Democratic debate on Saturday night.
Former Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton said Trump was becoming ISIS best recruiter because of his criticism of Muslims during the debate in New Hampshire. Hilary claimed: “They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.”
Donald Trump calls Hilary Clinton a liar
Trump went on Twitter to say that Clinton lied about the videos becoming an ISIS recruiting tool. Trump didn’t stop there, during an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Trump defended his rhetoric as representing “toughness and strength.” Trump continued: “She lies like crazy about everything, whether it’s trips where she was being gunned down in a helicopter or an airplane. She’s a liar and everybody knows that.”
Sanders called Trump a “pathological liar”
On ABC’s “This Week,” Sanders called Trump a “pathological liar,” regarding Trump’s claims about celebrations by large numbers of Muslims in New Jersey in the wake of the September 11, 2001, attacks. On the show, Sanders said: “I mean, I think much of what he says are lies or gross distortion of reality. Nobody has seen a tape of thousands of people celebrating the destruction of the Twin Towers in New Jersey. It doesn’t exist. And he keeps claiming it. That’s called pathological lying.”
On NBC, Trump responded to Jeb Bush, who called him a “jerk” during an event in New Hampshire. Trump said the former Florida governor was trying to “get a little mojo going.” Bush is far behind Trump in the polls. “He’s going to be off the stage soon,” Trump said.
