As policymakers prepare to debate climate change in Congress, special interests on all sides of the issue are gathering strength in Washington.

We need you to help shed light on who the top environmental and energy lobbyists are.

Find and rate the best articles on energy and environment lobbies for us and partner Newstrust. Then add the information you dig up to profiles in our moderated wiki.

This project will run from from November 16th through November 22 in collaboration with the social news site NewsTrust.net, where users work together to find and rate the news. We'll highlight our top contributions and announce the results of the News Hunt on Wednesday, December 2.

You can participate in a couple of ways:

  • Help identify, review and rate articles about lobbying and top lobbyists. Click here to learn more or scroll down to see what articles have already been found.
  • Use what you learn from the News Hunt and update a lobbyist profile on our site or add a new one. The WRG editors have listed a few of the top energy and environmental lobbyists below as suggestions.
