Things are about to get nasty between Bernie Sanders and the Democrats, as the Vermont Senator refuses to step aside, in order to let the party focus on Hillary Clinton’s campaign, keeping his promise that he will fight until the last vote.
According to the Huffpost Politics, citing Reuters, The Bern took the ‘fight’ with the Democrats to a whole new level this Sunday, accusing the establishment that they’re trying to anoint Hillary Clinton as the nominee for the presidential race.
None of the candidates would be a great choice, says the Senator
In an interview for ABC’s “This Week”, Bernie Sanders said that in November, Americans should not have to choose between “the lesser of two evils”, after Mrs. Clinton declared that she’s already considering herself the Democratic nominee and is ready for the clash with Donald Trump.
“I don’t want to see the American people voting for the lesser of two evils. I want the American people to be voting for a vision of economic justice, of social justice, of environmental justice, of racial justice,” he said.
Democrats are considering him a threat for Hillary!
The Senator added that one of his first moves as President would be to think at somebody else as Democratic National Committee chairwoman, instead of U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was currently reappointed.
“Do I think she is the kind of chair that the Democratic Party needs? No, I don’t,” Bernie Sanders said during CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
And it seems that Bernie’s attitude did the job! A lot of Democrats are beginning to fear that his ambition to maintain his campaign could affect Hillary’s. Also, not once he was asked to step aside, but the answer was always the same, vowing to stay in the race until the nominating convention in July.
