It’s pretty much a certainty that Donald Trump will be the Republican party’s presidential nominee for next year’s elections, even though a lot of people, including celebrities and influential people consider this a tragedy.
Trump wants everybody to know that he is healthy and does not have any issues
The businessman seems to be pretty confident about his chances, otherwise we cannot see why he decided to talk about a new topic this week: his health. And he didn’t stopped to himself, as, according to The Washington Post, he seems concerned about the inferior physical condition of some of his rivals in the race for the White House.
“I consider my health, stamina and strength one of my greatest assets,” Donald Trump tweeted Thursday. “The world has watched me for many years and can so testify — great genes!”
This isn’t the first time he’s mentioning this aspect though, as earlier this year, he accused Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton of not having that much stamina. Still, The Washington Post reports that this was a jab aimed at fellow Republican Rival Ben Carson. It seems that the former neurosurgeon declined to discuss his detailed medical history in a recent interview. Carson is known for being treated for prostate cancer in the early 2000s.
Should candidates make their medical records public?
But back to Donald Trump, in the past he claimed that all presidential candidates should release their medical records, following his example.
“As a presidential candidate, I have instructed my long-time doctor to issue, within two weeks, a full medical report-it will show perfection” Trump tweeted.
Shortly after this, Ben Carson also announced that his medial records will also be released. Him and Hillary Clinton weren’t the only ones targeted by Donald Trump, as Bernie Sanders condition was also targeted by the Republican candidate.
