This Monday morning, in a sharp exchange on Twitter, President Donald Trump criticized - read that ‘insulted’ - one of the House intelligence committee most important members, Rep. Adam Schiff.

Trump called the California congressman “sleazy”, as a result of him hitting back over the president’s TV appearances habits, says CNN Politics.

The President, back at it again, with another tweet

“Sleazy Adam Schiff, the totally biased Congressman looking into “Russia,” spends all of his time on television pushing the Dem loss excuse!” he tweeted.

Adam Schiff has a high-profile position in the House intelligence committee, granting him a very important position in the Congress’ investigation of the Russian implication in the 2016 presidential election, as well as a potential collusion by the Trump campaign.

Of course, it didn’t take long and the Democrat replied to Donald Trump, using the same social media platform.

“With respect Mr. President, the problem is how often you watch TV, and that your comments and actions are beneath the dignity of the office,” he said.

A big TV fan!

Not once Donald Trump was criticized by Mr. Schiff about his television watching habits, a subject that the president has bristled at in the past.

Earlier this month, he twetted about having “very little time for watching TV,” as a response to an article published in the New York Times, discussing his habitual liking for TV time.
