Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has proposed a plan for a tighter gun control measures and Stated that she will use executive powers to achieve her aim if elected as President of the United States.
“I want to push hard to get more sensible restraints,” Clinton stated on NBC’s “Today” show. “I want to work with Congress, but I will look at ways as president.”
Clinton said there should be more vast backgroundchecks on gun sales online and at gun shows. She also suggested the covering of loophole in Federal law that allows for gun sale if the background checks is not completed within three days.
Clinton will however unveil more of her plans during a campaign in New Hampshire.
Her campaign is also said to include removing of a legislation protecting gun manufacturers,dealers and distruibutors from most laible persecution.
Clinton also slammed Republican lawmakers for the recent campus shootings and Stated that they have refused to do anything about it.
“We need to make every politician who sides with [the NRA] to look in the eyes of parents whose kids have been murdered,” Clinton stated. “The GOP counts on a dedicated group that scares politicians and says ‘We will vote against you’ … So we will take them on. We took them on in the ’90s; we’re gonna take them on again.”
