As the days go by, Hillary Clinton is focusing more and more on Donald Trump, as the businessman will most likely be the one she will face in November, for a spot at the White House. And she doesn’t plan to go soft on him, as proven in the latest interview the former Secretary of State gave for CNN.
Hillary goes rough on The Donald
According to CNN Politics, Hillary Clinton called her rival “divisive and dangerous”, claiming that his recent behavior is the proof that he’s not qualified to be president, in what seems to be the most acid attack she ever launched at Trump.
In the interview with Chris Cuomo, Clinton used the Republican’s attacks on London’s mayor, his intention to speak with North Korea’s Kim Jonh Un and his call to back away from the NATO as arguments sustaining her opinion.
“I know how hard this job is, and I know that we need steadiness as well as strength and smarts in it, and I have concluded he is not qualified to be president of the United States,” Hillary Clinton said.
Also, during the interview, she wanted to emphasize the gravity of Trump’s idea to ban Muslims from entering the country, calling it a “message of disrespect” to several countries, with a majority of Muslims.
This definitely calls for an acid tweet…
“When you run for president of the United States, the entire world is listening and watching,” she said. “So when you say you’re going to bar all Muslims, you’re sending evidence to the Muslim world, and you’re also sending a message to terrorists. … Donald Trump is essentially being used as a recruiter for more people to join the cause of terrorism.”
This last accusation is by far the most serious she made lately and we’re expecting for a reply from the Republican’s campaign. However, in a more extreme way, Hillary Clinton is absolutely correct.
