Vice President of the United States of America has strongly condemned the call of Donald Trump to ban Muslims from the US. Bloomberg Politics reports.
“I don’t know what his motive is, but I know what he’s preaching is a very, very dangerous brew for America.” Joe Biden,73, had said.
Biden who just returned from a short visit to Ukraine on Air Force Two really blasted Donald Trump for his recent comments. He used the opportunity to speak out against the notions that the GOP candidate stands for.
“I believe he’s smart enough to know half of what he’s saying makes no sense: Build a wall? He’s got to build a wall that’s the best wall and the highest wall? A lot of this is showmanship.”
According to Huffington Post, Vice President Biden thinks if the real estate mogul wins the GOP presidential nomination, democratic presidential front-runner Hilary Clinton would “win in a walk.”
Aside Biden, many members of even the Republican Party think that if Trump wins the nomination, the election would be in favor of Hilary Clinton, the preferred Democratic nominee.
Jeb Bush, a fellow Republican candidate joined in denouncing Trump’s rhetoric towards immigrants and expressed serious concern that Donald Trump could hand over the election to the Democrats.
He tweeted via his handle @JebBush: “Maybe Donald negotiated a deal with his buddy @HilaryClinton. Continuing this path will put her in the White House.”
Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, fellow Republican also refused to be identified with Trump’s comments, according to Bloomberg Politics.
“This is not conservatism… What was proposed is not what the party stands for, and more importantly it’s not what this Country stands for.”
In the wake of the backlash, Trump has tweeted a poll revealing that 68% of his supporters would follow him if he ran as an independent. This is an obvious response to all that has been said about him.
