Sarah Palin: What Obama Missed On His Alaska Trip

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska has took fault with Obama when he visited her state. She said that the President missed key issues in the place. Speaking to the Independent Journal Palin said that while the president highlighted on climate changed and trekked Alaska’s wilderness he didn’t address Chinese and Russian oil exploration at the coast of Alaska.

Mrs. Palin was also not impressed and slammed Obama on changing the official name of the U.S tallest mountain to Denali from McKinley.  “And, he renamed a mountain…our mountain…the tallest peak on the North America continent,” said Palin.

However, it seems to be ironical because Palin herself referred to the mountain as Denali just like other Alaskan politicians. That was her secret service code name. She also slammed Barack Obama for not calling on the Hubbard Glacier which is said to be expanding according to NASA. Obama made visits to one of the thousands of glaciers that have been shrinking over the years in Alaska. He also pointed out that the shrinking of the glaciers was a true evidence of global warming.

Palin said, “Unlike most tourists, the President heads home now with his enormous fleet of transport vehicles — ironically after plenty of finger pointing on this Global Warming tour. Astoundingly, with just this one trip, a bigger carbon footprint was created than what 33 cars combined would create in an entire year.”
