Some But Not All Republican Presidential Hopefuls Come To Kim Davis’ Defense

As presidential aspirant of the GOP are heading to a heated months they are facing tough challenges. The issue on same sex marriage has wrecked controversies all over the United States and will be a tough issue to comment on especially for the Republicans who take a conservative stance on most of their agendas.

Recently Kim Davis was willing to be jailed for failing to issue licenses to same sex couples in Kentucky. GOP hopefuls have since been inclined to take a stance on the issue and most of them have had the least mention on same sex marriages.

As Senator Ted Cruz of Texas commented on the issues he asked, Where is the call for President Obama to resign for ignoring and defying our immigration laws, our welfare reform laws, and even his own Obamacare?” He also added that the matter is judicial lawlessness which has crossed into judicial tyranny.

GOP hopeful Sen. Rick Santorum said more people of faith will be thrown to jail “if we do not make the necessary accommodations so people can not just worship but live out their faith in their lives.”

However, some have been leaning harder. Mike Huckabee has affirmed that he is in the process of put up an “I’m With Kim” rally just out of the Carter County Detention Center.
