Donald Trump was under pressure to release his medical history, being one of the oldest candidate vying for the presidency. Also, several other candidates had released their records, including Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton and Republican rival Jeb Bush.

News made the rounds about Trump’s medical deferment for bone spurs in 1968 during the Vietnam War, so his health was a cause for concern as he would become the oldest president to be elected for a first term in US history.

Trump physician, based in New York City, Harold Bornstein said his physical strength and stamina are “extraordinary” according to the report. Mr Bornstein claimed to have been Donald Trump’s personal physician since 1980, and that in 39 years, he has had no major issues.

Trump would be the healthiest president ever according to his physician

Trump’s doctor claimed Trump’s latest physical exam showed only “positive results.” “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual elected to the presidency.” Bornstein wrote. He is a certified member of the American Board of Internal Medicine, licensed to practice in New York state.

According to the medical report: “Mr. Trump has suffered no form of cancer, has never had a hip, knee or shoulder replacement or any other orthopedic surgery, his cardiovascular status is excellent. He has no history of ever using alcohol or tobacco products.” Trump’s physician claimed Trump’s blood pressure and lab results were “astonishingly excellent.”

Trump claimed to have had “great genes” and said Hilary Clinton may not have the “stamina” to be president.
Clinton’s physician, Lisa Bardack, described the presidential candidate as a “healthy 67-year-old female whose current medical conditions include hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies,” with a concussion, elbow fracture and blood clot in her record. The physician claimed Ms Clinton exercises regularly and eats a diet “rich in lean protein.”

Jeb Bush’s doctor, Alberto Mitranin, described him as a “healthy a vigorous 62-year-old man” in “excellent physical and mental condition.”
