This Monday, President-elect Donald Trump had a meeting with Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba, and promised that they’re planning to do “some great things”, according to The Hill.

Trump told reporters that their encounter at the Trump Tower went perfect and didn’t forget to praise Mr. Ma, claiming that he’s one of the best entrepreneurs in the world, who loves both the United States and China.

The meeting was actually productive!

Jack Ma, the richest person in Asia, revealed to reporters that during his meeting with the president, they discussed about how they can help small business in the United States sell agricultural products to Asian consumers, says the above-mentioned source.

This meeting could be just the start, as, during his presidential campaign, Donald Trump promised to significantly increase the number of jobs in the US and, according to one of Alibaba spokesmen, the plan is to create 1 million new jobs!

“Jack plans to share how Alibaba will create 1 million U.S. jobs by enabling 1 million small businesses to sell American goods to China and Asian consumers on the Alibaba platform,” Brion Tingler declared.

Will Trump keep his promises?

Over the past weeks, Donald Trump had different meetings with a number of private sector leaders, including people from Silicon Valley, and, apparently, they were very productive!

He noted that Fiat Chrysler is planning to invest $1 billion in U.S factories in the near future and this is just the start, as he’s willing to keep his promises.

“You just saw what happened with Fiat, where they’re going to build a massive plant in the United States, in Michigan,” Trump declared, adding and that he’s excited about working with Jack Ma.
